| EFT
is a procedure founded by Dr Roger Callahan and developed
by Gary Craig. EFT is based on the discovery that imbalances
in the body's energy systems have profound effects on
one's personal psychology.
Tapping
on certain body locations using affirmations can lead
to correcting these imbalances. EFT can help release
the effects of grief, lack of confidence, fears, phobias,
addictions, traumas, anger, guilt, depression, anxiety,
stress and panic attacks.
EFT is not hypnosis, is not conventional and there is still much
to learn, yet it has a huge success factor.
Sometimes issues will not be resolved within
one or two sessions. This may be because of aspects
relating to the issue/problem and we then can address
it like peeling the layers off an onion. You may have
a fear of spiders. We may remove that fear through tapping,
however it may bring up other issues such as the circumstances
surrounding the fear of the spiders, so then we would
need to tap on those issues. They in turn may bring
up other issues and so it goes on until all the issues
have been addressed. Only then will you be free of the
negative emotion, in this case your fear of spiders.
